Epona Logistics, LLC (Epona), a QuarterLine company, has announced that it has been approved as a licensed customs broker.  Beginning in the summer of 2013, the company will be providing its clients in meeting federal customs requirements for imports and exports.  Epona will be joining a small and elite list of licensed Customs Brokers in the United States, having passed a rigorous examination and security clearance.  This service will allow Epona clients access to all necessary clearance services as well as global freight forwarding and logistics services in one company.

As a Customs Broker, Epona will assist importers and exporters in meeting Federal requirements. In order to hold this license, the corporation must have expertise in the entry procedures, admissibility requirements, classification, valuation, and the rates of duty and applicable taxes and fees for imported merchandise. Customs brokers help importers “clear goods” – process shipments through customs in a timely and legal fashion.“ Epona specializes in freight forwarding and has over 20 years of experience. The Customs Broker License will only increase our abilities within the industry and allow us to be more versatile with the types of clients we can work with,” said JP Graff, Principal of Epona Logistics.
